The eldest child of the Glimmershine clan, a high ranking agent of Oculus, the secret operations division of Lantan, specializing in the enforcement of Lantanese law and national security. Level-headed and mature, she is admired and respected by her younger siblings, and is highly skilled at archery, mechanical engineering and beast taming. She works alongside a dire wolf named Carnifex.

The second child of the Glimmershine clan, training as a Seeker of the Church of Gond. Though intelligent, she displays great amounts of vanity and takes pride in vaunting her beauty. Despite this, she hides a deep insecurity regarding her place in the family in comparison to her sisters, although her heart is in the right place.

The fourth child of the Glimmershine clan. Although born with a weak constitution, his innate talents in arcane magic are exceptional. As one of the youngest members of the family, he is both adored and frequently teased by his sisters. He studies magic under his uncle, Marius Lightwinder, in the island of Orlil.
Caridus C. Magnussen
Alignment: True Neutral
A venerable and once-famed Lantanese inventor, scientist and former High Artificer who gave up his titles and left the islands half a century ago. His published memoirs remain among the most famous and respected works in Lantan to the current day, however. Despite his old age and apparent senility, his talent and zeal for innovation remain as sharp as ever. He currently resides in a small house in Athkatla, continuing his work in privacy.

Magnussen’s apprentice, a young inventor who sought out the master artificer for tutelage, while taking care of his elderly mentor’s day-to-day necessities and peddling his creations. While average in talent, he displays a great amount of enthusiasm towards his craft.

The paternal half-brother of Kairos Glimmershine, and the uncle of the Glimmershine children. Leads the 11th Workshop of the Lantanna, specializing in the study and invention of weaponry. Stoic and focused, his profession leads the majority of Lantanese citizens to view him with reservation, but his loyalty to the nation is without doubt. A masterful artificer, he crafted and carries a magical blade named Sagacity, which uses the wielder’s intuition to guide its strikes. His choice to carry a weapon at all times despite his non-militant profession is viewed as a symbol of his will to defend Lantan through any means necessary.

Known informally as Ceri to her friends and acquaintances, she is a close friend and ex-schoolmate of Aura. One of the few dragons who resides in Lantan. After Aura and her friend Liro encountered her at her home in the mountains and outwitted her at her game, she became enamored with Lantanese craft and enrolled in the Sambaran Academy, becoming a master of artifice to support her love of puzzles and pranks. When venturing into Lantanese cities, she takes the form of a beautiful young gnome with copper-colored skin and green eyes.
Minor NPCs & Miscellaneous
A selection of Lantanna enforcers and agents trained in both law enforcement and espionage. They answer to the Ayrorch and fulfill many roles involving the security of Lantan, including the elimination of threats to the nation and protection of national secrets. They operate with such secrecy that most common Lantanna are not even aware of their existence.
“A-Ma-Ta” (aka Aamata)
A criminal organization composed of Lantanna extremists that oppose the existence of the Weave, and advocate for weaponization of Lantanese artifice. Agents of A-Ma-Ta are known to infiltrate foreign nations to steal arcane secrets and magical artifacts with the goal of studying them for weakness and destroying them afterwards, though members with other agendas have secretly kept some “acquisitions” for personal use.
The most distinguished trading company based in Lantan, with a history that spans several generations. The Spindleweaver Company, owing to distant relations to almost all of the prominent Lantanese clans, including the Glimmershines, Mideveningwalkers and Dinelstrands, exports a vast number of Lantanese goods to various nations across the world, and ranks among the wealthiest and most renowned of the clans across Faerun as a result.
Shingorou Takemichi Musou
A master Kozakuran swordsmith, renowned for the artistry of his crafts. His brusque and aloof personality has given him a reputation for being as cold and cutting as the swords he forges. He is among the few foreign craftsmen with a reputation throughout the Realms due to taking frequent pilgrimages away from his homeland to compare his craft to other blacksmiths of talent.
